Our client, SOLO Cup, partnered with Disney to run a promotional sweepstakes leading up to the premiere of the movie Solo: A Star Wars Story. We identified three objectives for the SOLO sweepstakes experience: capture emails, reinforce the SOLO brand as the original “red cup,” and provide users with a simple path to purchase SOLO products.

The resulting microsite guided users to enter a sweepstakes for a trip to the movie premiere and to explore Star Wars SOLObration party ideas using SOLO products. To encourage site visitors to purchase SOLO products, users were given a bonus coupon code to use on Amazon after entering the sweepstakes.

We created a custom analytics dashboard for real-time goal tracking using Google Data Studio. The client objectives remained front-and-center, and the client team was able to make informed adjustments to the promotional strategy.
